New Delhi: The world's leading tech company Apple Inc has made a major management change and appointed Sabih Khan of Indian origin as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company. Sabih Khan will now replace Jeff Williams, who is going to retire at the end of this year after serving Apple for 27 years, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Will replace Jeff Williams

Jeff Williams, who was considered the most influential officer after Apple CEO Tim Cook, is now retiring at the end of this year. Till then he will continue to handle Apple's design team and report to Tim Cook. After his retirement, the design team will report directly to the CEO.

Sabih Khan started his career at Apple in 1995 and has since worked in various important departments within the company. In the year 2019, he was given the responsibility of Senior Vice President Operations, in which he handled important sections like Apple's global supply chain, product quality, manufacturing and logistics.

Education of Sabih Khan

Sabih Khan has graduated in Economics and Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, USA. After this, he received a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
