New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a notification for recruitment to several posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting upsc.gov.in.

Number of posts

A total of 241 vacant posts will be filled under this recruitment campaign.

Recruitment will be done for many important posts, including scientific officer, specialist, deputy director, and legal officer.

Application date

Interested applicants can apply till 17 July 2025. The application process started on 28 June. Candidates can pay the fees online till 18 July 2025.

Educational Qualification

To apply for these posts, candidates must have degrees like B.Sc., B.Tech./B.E., LLB, BVSc., M.Sc., postgraduate diploma, or MS/MD. The educational qualification, experience, and other criteria of each post are different; to know which candidates should read the official notification carefully.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for candidates applying for various posts in this recruitment exam has been fixed at 30 years, and the maximum age limit at 50 years. However, this age limit may vary according to the posts, so candidates are advised to confirm the age limit prescribed for the respective post from the official notification.

Selection Process

The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test and an interview. The performance of the candidates in the selection process will be evaluated in the ratio of 75:25, with 75 percent weightage given to the written test and 25 percent weightage to the interview. Under this process, equitable evaluation of the overall merit and eligibility of the candidates will be ensured.

Application Fee

General category candidates will have to deposit a fee of Rs 25 through online mode, while candidates of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Divyang (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen categories will not have to pay any kind of application fee.

3. Register yourself or log in.

4. Select the relevant post and fill out the application form.

5. Upload documents and pay the application fee.
