Heavy to very heavy rains can be seen in many states. There may be incidents of landslides in hilly and coastal areas, floods and lightning in low-lying areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain with thunderstorm can be seen in Delhi today. Tomorrow also the sky may remain overcast here. Also, there may be moderate rain. Rain in UP for the next 48 hours
Heavy rain may start again in Uttar Pradesh from today. According to the Meteorological Department, rain, thunder and lightning may occur in many districts of UP for the next two days. Heavy to very heavy rain may occur in the state in the next 48 hours. On August 13, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at many places in western UP and almost all places in eastern UP. During this time, heavy to very heavy rain may also occur at some places.
How will the weather be in Bihar
The Meteorological Department has predicted very heavy rain in West Champaran, Gopalganj and Siwan of Bihar on August 13. Heavy rain may occur in Samastipur, Kishanganj, East Champaran, Khagaria and Munger. Moderate level rain may occur in the districts of South Bihar including Patna. Heavy rain is expected in Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya and Nawada on August 14. Light to moderate rain is expected in all other districts.
Rain alert in these states
A new series of heavy rains may start in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Telangana from August 13 to 17. The Meteorological Department has further predicted heavy rains in Konkan, Goa and Ghat areas of Central Maharashtra between August 15 and 18.
Torrential rain in hilly states
Heavy to very heavy rains may occur in Uttarakhand from August 13 to 15. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy to very heavy rains in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Haridwar, Nainital, Bageshwar, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Thunderstorms and lightning may occur in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir from August 13 to 15. Heavy rains may occur at different places.
