The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an 'Orange Alert' in Delhi for the next two days and has asked people to be cautious, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The temperature in Delhi-NCR reached 43.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday, which is 3.4 degrees higher than the season's average. According to the Meteorological Department, very hot weather will remain in Delhi till June 12.

The havoc of heat wave is continuously increasing in Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, the series of heat and heatwave is going to continue in the state.
Today there is a heatwave alert in 27 districts including Noida, Jhansi, while there is a possibility of hot night in 11 districts. Heat is also in its fierce form in Lucknow.
After the change in weather, the department has issued a yellow alert. Even today the maximum temperature is expected to reach 45 degrees. The heat will trouble like this throughout the week.
Bihar is experiencing severe heat at this time. Heatwave and humidity have made life difficult for people. The Meteorological Department on Tuesday issued an orange alert for heatwave in 32 districts of the state.

Yellow alert has been issued in 6 other districts. The temperature in many districts has gone above 42 degrees Celsius. The situation is likely to remain the same for the next 24 hours.

IMD has expressed hope of light rain. According to the forecast, there may be light rain in the mountainous areas. At the same time, there are chances of strong winds with lightning in the plains as well. According to meteorologists, similar conditions will remain in Uttarakhand till June 11.
These days, strong sunlight and scorching heat are making people miserable in Himachal Pradesh. The temperature in Una was 42.4 degrees, in Kangra it was 40.4 and in Bilaspur it was 40.1 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather department's forecast, the weather in the state will remain dry and hot from June 10 to 12. During this time, there is a possibility of further increase in temperature. However, the weather may change from June 13.
