Monsoon fury hits Himachal furiously
Shimla: Monsoon fury has completely derailed life in the state. So far more than 400 people have lost their lives due to landslides, flash floods, and road accidents owing to incessant rainfall, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
According to the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA), 598 roads are still blocked across the state, including three national highways--NH-03, NH-305 and NH-503A. Besides around 500 power distribution transformers and over 180 water supply schemes have been destroyed due to massive rains resulting in landslides and flash floods.

As many as 314 power transformers are also disfunctional. In Kullu more than 170 roads are reported block, including the Manali-Atal Tunnel Rohtang road and the Anni-Jalori highway.
