Bhopal: Scorching heat wave continues to grip the state due to hot winds blowing in from Rajasthan. India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued heatwave alert in 11 districts of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday.
There seems to be little respite from the heat in the coming days. The capital city Bhopal is also reeling under the intense heat, affecting daily life.

In Bhopal, the mercury touched 43 degrees Celsius, resulting in extreme heat.
People are facing difficulties commuting to work due to the scorching heat since Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday, districts like Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Panna, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, and Niwari may experience heatwave conditions at some places.
With the dry weather persisting, there is little hope of relief from the heat in the coming days. In Bhopal, the heat is expected to continue with similar intensity in the next few days, causing difficulties for people going to work.
Delhi experiences hottest days of the summer season. Heatwave continues in Delhi-NCR from past 2 days. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an 'Orange Alert' in Delhi for the next two days and has asked people to be cautious.

The temperature in Delhi-NCR reached 43.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday, which is 3.4 degrees higher than the season's average. According to the Meteorological Department, very hot weather will remain in Delhi till June 12.
Temperature reaches 45 degrees in UP
The havoc of heat wave is continuously increasing in Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, the series of heat and heatwave is going to continue in the state.
Today there is a heatwave alert in 27 districts including Noida, Jhansi, while there is a possibility of hot night in 11 districts. Heat is also in its fierce form in Lucknow.
After the change in weather, the department has issued a yellow alert. Even today the maximum temperature is expected to reach 45 degrees. The heat will trouble like this throughout the week.
