‘You Harmed Youth’s Future The Most’: Rahul Gandhi Attacks PM Modi Over Paper Leaks, Repeats Three Demands

Hours after PM Modi announced fast-track courts for paper leak cases, Rahul Gandhi accused the govt of causing the greatest damage to students’ futures. He also reiterated three demands, including Dharmendra Pradhan’s removal.

New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the examination paper leak controversy, accusing his government of damaging the future of India’s youth.

His remarks came shortly after the Prime Minister announced plans to establish fast-track courts for paper leak cases and promised swift and stringent punishment for those found guilty.

Rahul Gandhi Accuses Government of Failing Students

In a post on X, Rahul alleged that the education system had been allowed to deteriorate under the present government.

He claimed that those responsible for weakening the system had been protected and said the Prime Minister had harmed young people’s futures more than anyone else.

The allegations form part of the continuing political confrontation over examination irregularities and student protests.

Congress Leader Repeats Three Demands

Rahul reiterated three demands raised following the protests:

• Removal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan
• An apology to students
• Action against personnel accused of assaulting protesters

He has also alleged that 152 paper leaks took place over the past decade without adequate accountability or convictions.

PM Modi Announces Fast-Track Courts

Earlier, PM Modi said the welfare and future of young people remained the government’s highest priority.

He announced that fast-track courts would be established to expedite trials in paper leak cases and ensure strict punishment. The Prime Minister also said officials had been directed to take all necessary steps and warned that those harming students’ futures would not be spared.

Student Protests Continue in Delhi

The exchange comes amid continuing protests in Delhi over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations and demands for Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation.

The demonstrations have intensified political pressure on the government, with several opposition parties extending support to the students.
