She received the Young India Country Award 2025 in the presence of Chief Guest Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry and 50th Chief Justice of India, Dr. D.Y. Chandrachud.
Before this national honor, Ruma Devi had already garnered international attention. She was felicitated at “Diwali at Times Square” in New York, USA, held on October 10 to 12, 2025, celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage on one of the world’s most iconic stages.
Further, Ruma Devi graced the AIA Diwali Festival in Long Island as a Special Guest on October 11, 2025. Organized by the Association of Indians in America, the festival showcased cultural performances, art exhibitions, and authentic Indian cuisine, highlighting the unity and spirit of the Indian diaspora.
