New Delhi: The comedy show India Got Latent is now closed. In one of its episodes, Ranveer had inadvertently asked a derogatory question about the parents, which obliquely created controversy nationwide, demanding legal action against him and others involved in the episode.

Investigation Completed, Ranveer Get His Passport

Now Ranveer can breathe a sigh of relief as Maharashtra and Assam Police have vindicated him after completing their investigation. The investigation into the other accused individuals is still ongoing, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Ranveer had filed a petition in the Supreme Court to get his passport back, which was accepted by the bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice N. Kotishwar Singh. The Supreme Court returned his passport after the investigation concluded.

The Supreme Court had already warned

Earlier, the Supreme Court had allowed Ranveer to resume his podcast, but with one condition—he has to follow the standards of decency and ethics. The court had clearly said that content creators should act responsibly.

Ranveer's comeback and emotional appeal

After the controversy, Ranveer has restarted his podcast, and this time he has promised to "create content more responsibly". He posted an emotional video on Twitter (x) and said,

"Please give me another chance. I love content creation and podcasting. I am passionate about knowing the history and culture of India. When my mental health was deteriorating, meditation and prayer made me understand that in the end, God is with you."

Now what?

Now that Ranveer is free from legal troubles, he can focus on his work—but this time more carefully. This controversy is a lesson for all content creators: ethical boundaries should not be crossed in the name of entertainment.
