Bengal Cabinet: CM Suvendu Adhikari allocates portfolios, retains Home; Full list

The West Bengal government has announced cabinet portfolios, with Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari retaining several powerful departments, including Home, Power and Land Reforms.

Kolkata: The West Bengal government on Wednesday formally announced the allocation of portfolios in the newly constituted cabinet led by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari.

According to an official notification issued by the Home and Hill Affairs Department, Adhikari will continue to oversee several of the state's most influential ministries while delegating other key responsibilities to senior cabinet colleagues and first-time ministers.

Adhikari Retains Strategic Departments

In addition, Suvendu will continue to oversee the Land and Land Reforms and Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation Department, Power Department, and Information and Cultural Affairs Department.

Adhikari will also remain responsible for Personnel and Administrative Reforms, along with all departments that have not been specifically assigned to other ministers.
