‘Don’t Be Selective’: BJP’s JP Nadda Slams Opposition Over NEET Paper Leak Protest, Urges Not To Politicise

New Delhi: JP Nadda, former BJP President and Union Health Minister, addressed a press conference over the NEET paper leak and the Congress protest. While speaking to the press, he slammed the opposition over paper leaks in states governed by Congress and other opposition parties. He mentioned several examples of paper leaks in non-BJP states such as Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Kerala.

He said, “Don’t be selective.”

Nadda further urged opposition leaders not to politicise the issue. He said that the government is ready for a detailed discussion over the paper leak in Parliament.

Paper Leak Cases in States Ruled by Opposition

Trying to hit back at the Opposition for targeting the central government over the NEET row, Nadda pointed to alleged paper leak cases in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal (run by TMC), Punjab, Kerala, and Karnataka.

He claimed that many of these leaks happened under Congress or other Opposition-led governments.

"I want to ask Rahul Gandhi — why are you being so selective? Why haven't you spoken about Congress and Congress-backed governments? This makes it obvious that your real goal isn't the welfare of students or improving education. You just want to score political points using students' issues," he said.
