New Delhi: A fresh political war of words has erupted between BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut and Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das. Hours after Kangana described Das as "useless" and questioned his credentials as a student, the CJP leader responded sharply, saying the BJP MP is "not taken seriously by her own party."

Saurav Das Responds to Kangana's Remarks

Speaking to the media, Das dismissed Kangana's criticism and said there was no reason for people to take her comments seriously. "Kangana Ranaut is not taken seriously by her own party. So why should we take her seriously? I don't think anyone in Gen Z or Gen Alpha listens to her," he said.

Das also referred to Kangana's earlier comments about her responsibilities as a first-time Member of Parliament, claiming they reflected her approach towards politics.

Questions Her Political Commitment

According to Das, Kangana had earlier admitted that parliamentary work involved far more responsibility than she had expected.

He argued that while Kangana has criticised the younger generation for being "unserious," her own statements have raised questions about her commitment to public life.

Objection to Kangana's Language

Das also criticised the language used by Kangana in her recent Instagram posts targeting CJP and its supporters.

He said politicians should maintain the dignity of public office and choose their words responsibly while engaging in political debates.

The CJP spokesperson further claimed that India's younger generation has contributed significantly to strengthening democratic participation and should not be dismissed.

What Kangana Ranaut Had Said

The exchange began after Kangana Ranaut shared a series of Instagram posts targeting Saurav Das. She questioned how the 28-year-old could still describe himself as a student and defended her own achievements, saying she had already won two National Awards by that age.

Calling Das "useless" and "unemployed," Kangana argued that he would not understand the demands of a successful public career, highlighting her work as an actor, filmmaker, producer, screenwriter, entrepreneur and Member of Parliament.

Political Sparring Continues

The latest exchange comes amid heightened political tensions following the recent CJP-led student protests. With both sides continuing to trade sharp remarks, the verbal battle has added another chapter to the ongoing political and social debate surrounding the movement.
