Letter To CJI, Resignation Of Education Minister: INDIA Bloc meeting concludes with consensus on 5 key issues

1. INDIA Bloc To Write Letter To CJI Over SIR

One of the biggest decisions taken during the INDIA bloc meeting was to raise concerns over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and alleged manipulation of voter lists.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said opposition parties would jointly write to the Chief Justice of India, alleging attempts at “vote loot” and electoral irregularities. The bloc claimed that voting rights of millions were under threat and demanded judicial intervention on the matter.

2. Immediate Resignation Of Education Minister

The alliance unanimously demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET and CBSE controversies.

Opposition leaders accused the Centre of betraying lakhs of students due to repeated exam irregularities, paper leak allegations and failures in the examination system. Kharge said the youth of the country had lost trust in the system and accountability must be fixed immediately.

3. INDIA Bloc Seeks All-Party Meeting On Inflation, Unemployment

Another major issue discussed was the country’s economic condition. The opposition alliance urged the Centre to immediately call an all-party meeting to discuss inflation, unemployment, farmers’ distress and the slowing investment climate. Leaders alleged that rising prices, lack of jobs and economic uncertainty were severely affecting common people and MSMEs across the country.

4. Opposition Parties To Hold Meetings Every Two Months

To strengthen coordination ahead of future political battles, INDIA bloc parties agreed to hold regular meetings every two months. The move is aimed at ensuring better communication, joint planning and collective responses on national issues. Leaders stressed that opposition unity was necessary to counter the BJP politically both inside and outside Parliament.

5. Joint Strategy During Parliament’s Monsoon Session

The alliance also decided to continue coordinated floor strategy during the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament. Opposition parties will hold daily morning meetings in the office of the Leader of Opposition to finalise their stand on key issues and corner the Centre on matters including unemployment, paper leaks, inflation and foreign policy.
