Days after criticizing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the father of the MBBS student allegedly gang-raped in Durgapur has apologized, calling her “like a mother” and urging her to help secure justice for his daughter. The grieving father, who now plans to take his daughter back to Odisha, has demanded a CBI probe into the case.
