“The kind of statements being made are not just political they are dangerous,” Modi said, adding that the government’s priority is to ensure the well-being of Indian nationals abroad.
Modi emphasised that his government has been actively monitoring developments since the conflict began. He said he has remained in touch with leaders from Gulf nations to stay updated and coordinate responses where necessary.
Indian embassies in the region, he noted, are working round the clock to assist citizens and prepare for any emergency evacuation if required.
The prime minister also underlined that the Centre is taking steps to ensure that the conflict has minimal repercussions on India’s economy and energy security.
A high-level review meeting involving chief ministers and lieutenant governors was recently convened to assess preparedness across states and union territories.

As tensions continue in West Asia, the government’s focus remains on ensuring stability at home while protecting Indians abroad from any fallout.
