Tech Czar and head of Gates foundation, Bill Gates, will be meeting Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati tomorrow and review ongoing collaboration works. Gates, is in India in connection with the Five Day global AI Impact summit being held in New Delhi from 16 February.

Amaravati: Bill Gates, founder chairman of the Gates Foundation, will visit Andhra Pradesh on16th February along with a delegation to review ongoing collaborations with the state government.
Gates would be visiting state secretariat at Amaravati and meet AP chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and IT Minister Nara Lokesh to discuss expansion of projects supported by the Foundation in health, education and agriculture sectors.

Gates is scheduled to arrive at the State Secretariat at 10 am, where he will meet the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and IT Minister Nara Lokesh.
The discussions will focus on diversifying and expanding projects in health, education and agriculture with technical and institutional support from the Gates Foundation.
Gates and Naidu also expected to focus on Quantum Valley Project in the state and upcoming Data Centre at Vishakapatnam. They may also discuss on latest trends in software technology ; fall out of AI ; Semi conductors resesrch and application of Drone Technology in various fields.
The state government is expected to make PowerPoint presentation to explain the Gates delegation on the progress in med-tech, diagnostics, and Sanjeevani project being implemented with the Foundations support.

The delegation would make a visit to agriculture field to observe drone based farming. They also visit Governance Centre to examine the use of technology in Governance.
Officials said the visit aims to strengthen institutional partnerships and scale up technology- driven development.
