Ganpati Idols Left in Dry Riverbed, Then Rain Brings Hope to Drought-Hit Anantapur
Severe drought in Anantapur created an unusual Ganpati immersion crisis as devotees found the Chitravathi River and nearby water bodies completely dry. After idols were placed in the parched riverbed with prayers for rain, showers arrived in parts of Rayalaseema, bringing relief and hope to farmers and residents.
