New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday announced its candidates for the upcoming biennial elections to the Karnataka Legislative Council. The names were finalised by the party’s Central Election Committee and released through an official statement from its central office in New Delhi.
The announcement comes as political parties prepare for the biennial polls to the state’s upper house, where members are elected from specialised constituencies such as graduates and teachers.

According to the statement, the BJP has fielded Shashil G Namoshi from the North East Teachers constituency, SV Sankanura from the West Graduates constituency, and KM Suresh from the South East Graduates constituency.
