Sources said the questioning began in the morning and concluded around the evening, lasting approximately six and a half hours. After the probe for the day ended, Vijay was seen exiting the CBI office.

Security Arrangements and Supporters Gather

Ahead of his appearance, the TVK had requested Delhi Police to ensure adequate security for its founder-leader. During the day, TVK cadres gathered outside the CBI office in the national capital, expressing solidarity with Vijay.

Supporters said they wanted to demonstrate that Vijay enjoys backing from across the country for his political vision and ideas for Tamil Nadu.

Political Reactions to Vijay’s Summons

The questioning drew reactions from several political leaders in Tamil Nadu. AIADMK leader Kovai Sathyan said that “everyone is the same before the law” and expressed hope that the truth would emerge once the inquiry is completed.

He questioned why Vijay was summoned to Delhi when the incident occurred in Karur and the FIR was registered there.
