In the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 clash between India and Pakistan, Abhishek Sharma is close to becoming the fastest player to hit 50 sixes in T20Is, while Hardik Pandya aims to reach 100 wickets.

Dubai: In the Asia Cup super 4, India and Pakistan will face each other at the Dubai International Stadium. The match is most awaited and will be more thrilling. In the match indian opener Abhishek Sharma will have a chance to set a special record. Also Hardik Pandya can set a new record against Pakistan.
The match will begin at 8:00 PM IST. Abhishek has scored 634 runs in 19 innings from 20 T20I matches, with a strike rate of 198.12 and 48 sixes. If he hits two more sixes against Pakistan, he will break the record for the fastest 50 sixes in T20I cricket.
The record for the fastest 50 sixes in T20I cricket is currently held by Evin Lewis of the West Indies, who reached 50 sixes in 20 innings.

Abhishek has performed brilliantly in the group stage of this Asia Cup, playing impactful innings against the UAE, Pakistan, and Oman. He scored the most runs for India in the first three matches, accumulating 99 runs.

In his 149-match T20 career, Abhishek has hit 250 sixes, placing him 12th on the list of Indian players with the most sixes in the format.
If Hardik takes 4 wickets in the match against Pakistan, he will become the second Indian player to take 100 or more wickets in T20 Internationals. He currently has 96 wickets from 105 innings in 117 matches, and is tied with Yuzvendra Chahal for second place on the list. Arshdeep Singh leads the list with 100 wickets.

India qualified for the Super 4 round after winning all three group stage matches, while Pakistan qualified after winning two matches. India had already defeated Pakistan in the group stage of the tournament.
