The young fast bowler has picked up 18 wickets in 13 matches so far and has become one of Kolkata Knight Riders’ most reliable bowling options during a fluctuating campaign.

Speaking about Tyagi’s resurgence, Raina highlighted the bowler’s difficult journey over the past few seasons. He pointed out that injuries and limited opportunities had affected Tyagi’s progress before his return this year.

According to Raina, Tyagi’s decision to focus on fitness after going unsold in the 2025 IPL auction played a major role in his successful comeback.

Tyagi’s pace, control and ability to deliver breakthroughs at key moments have drawn attention from fans and cricket experts alike.
