Washington: Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has sparked retirement speculation after revealing that the 2026-27 season could potentially be his final year as a professional player. The Portuguese superstar, however, has not officially announced his retirement yet.
The 41-year-old forward, who currently represents Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr, said he wants to end his legendary career by creating a lasting legacy and enjoying the final phase of his football journey.
