India started in The Hockey Asia Cup 2025 brilliantly. In the pool stage, team won all three matches and topped in the points table. On the other hand, South Korea secured second place in Pool B after winning two out of three matches.
In the Super-4 round, India defeated Malaysia 4-1 and China 7-0 to qualify for the finale. Meanwhile, South Korea, defeated Malaysia 4-3 to also reach the final.
