In the final T20I match played on Saturday, Australia won the toss and invited India to bat first. However, only 4.5 overs of play were possible, in which India scored 52 runs.
Openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill provided a quick start, but rain interrupted the match and the match was abandoned. With this, India won the series 2-1.

Abhishek Sharma has now reached the second spot on the list of Indian batsmen who have reached 1000 T20 International runs in the fewest innings.
