New Delhi: India’s flag-bearers for the Asian Games opening ceremony have been announced, with shooting champion Manu Bhaker and shot put star Tajinderpal Singh Toor selected for the prestigious honour.

Both athletes have earned recognition through their exceptional performances on the international stage. From Olympic success in shooting to Asian Games dominance in athletics, Bhaker and Toor have created memorable moments for Indian sports.

Manu Bhaker's Historical Olympic Feat

Manu Bhaker has become one of the best shooters in India after accomplishing an historical feat in the Paris Olympics 2024.

The 22-year-old shooter claimed two bronze medals in the 10m air pistol and 10m air pistol mixed team events and became the first-ever athlete in the history of independent India to clinch two medals in a single edition of the Olympics.
