According to Dynamite News corrrspondent AAP candidate Shelly Oberoi claimed victory in the Mayoral polls, with 150 votes. The BJP, meanwhile, garnered 116 votes. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia took to Twitter to congratulate Oberoi, saying, “The goons have lost, people have won.

I congratulate all workers on the election of an AAP mayor and thank the people of Delhi once again. Many congratulations to Shelly Oberoi, AAP’s first mayor.”
