Gorakhpur: BRD Medical College Principal resigned from his post.
Suspended Principal, BRD medical college said, "Wrote my resignation prior to that (suspension) taking responsibility of death of innocent children."

State Minister for Medical Education Ashutosh Tandon said on Saturday, while addressing the media over the tragedy, "We are suspending BRD medical college principal with immediate effect for this negligent behaviour."
