After his removal from all the posts, including from the position of National Coordinator, Akash Anand had written a long letter, which did not go well with Mayawati. "In the interest of the movement of Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar and following the tradition of the discipline of Kanshiram ji, Akash Anand, like his father-in-law, is expelled from the party in the interest of the party and the movement."
