New Delhi: The Supreme Court has said that it will tentatively see if the arguments on Arvind Kejriwal's bail plea conclude. It said, "We will give you a date for the day after tomorrow. If it's not possible, we will keep it sometime in next week."
Kejriwal's plea challenged the Delhi High Court's ruling from April 10th, which denied his appeal against the ED arrest. Since his arrest on March 21, Kejriwal has remained in detention.
No interim bail for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as of now in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Supreme Court likely to hear the case on Thursday or next week.

Opposing the bail, the ED had said, "Arvind Kejriwal has no Ministry, no portfolio, no sign, no responsibility, so why should he be granted the bail."
A two-judge bench led by Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta announced their decision on the matter. (with Agency inputs)
