Mainpuri: Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav slammed BJP of practising "divisive politics" to divert attention from real issues and claimed that India will go back 15 years if the BJP wins the Lok Sabha polls.

Dimple Yadav is contesting Lok Sabha election from Mainpuri seat. 

She said, people have understood the 'bantware ki rajneeti' or divisive politics of the BJP. It creates differences between different sections of society and indulges in vote bank politics.

In an interview to News Agency PTI Dimple Yadav said, "They incite people on caste lines, play with their sentiments and divert attention from core issues."

"People want change... they are voting for change this time. Due to the 'dabav ki rajneeti' (pressure politics) of the BJP, every section of society is fed up. The people are facing harassment at all levels," she said.

While the BJP government at the Centre is misusing institutions like the Enforcement Directorate, Central Bureau of Investigation, and the Income Tax Department, at the district level in Uttar Pradesh, the administration harassing people, she alleged. (with PTI inputs)
