New Delhi/ 20 March 2016. The Grand Ballroom of Hotel Imperial here echoed with the golden voice of the renowned artist Anita Singhvi while she rendered Sufiana kalams and ghazals to an exclusive audience on Saturday evening.
The event “Yaadein Begum Akhtar” was organized by Husanara Trust. Mohammad Hamid Ansari, Vice-President of India graced the occasion as an esteemed guest.
The audience applauded warmly on every performance by Singhvi for more than two hours.
Dr. Karan Singh, Ahmed Patel, Justice R.M. Lodha, Sheila Dixit, Sharad Yadav, Kapil Sibal, VK Duggal, NK Singh and Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi were present among others including a large number of eminent jurists, political figures, bureaucrats and ghazal lovers.
