Bajaj Auto is all set to launch a new motorcycle built from the metal of country’s first aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant. The motorcycle range named ‘Bajaj V’ will be introduced on February 1.

This new 150-cc bike is likely to have a retro look as seen in the preview aired by Bajaj. It will also sport a special logo to commemorate the aircraft carrier.

Bajaj Auto purchased the scrapped metal of the aircraft carrier and processed it to be a part of its new brand. “The new bike will therefore preserve a significant piece of Indian military history”, Bajaj Auto said in its statement.
