Double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker’s two relatives die in road accident

Double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker’s maternal grandmother Savitri Devi and elder maternal uncle Yudhveer Singh died in a road accident on Sunday. Read further on Dynamite News:

Mahendragarh (Haryana): Double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker's maternal grandmother Savitri Devi and elder maternal uncle Yudhveer Singh died in a road accident on Sunday. 

The accident happened on Mahendragarh bypass road in Charkhi Dadri. Manu's maternal uncle and grandmother were travelling on a scooty, suddenly a Brezza car hit both of them. The impact of the collision was so hard that both of them died on the spot.

Car driver fled 
The car driver immediately fled the accident spot. 

Soon after receiving the information, police reached the spot.The bodies were taken to civil hospital for post mortem. The cops have initiated an investigation into the matter. 

Notably, Double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker along with four other athletes received the prestigious Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award by the President of India, Draupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on January 17.
