Four criminals killed in encounter with police in Delhi

Four suspected criminals carrying rewards on their head were shot dead in an encounter with Delhi police’s Special Cell.

New Delhi: Four suspected criminals carrying rewards on their head were shot dead in an encounter with Delhi police's Special Cell.

According to reports, the encounter happened in South Delhi's Chhatarpur area. The criminals allegedly opened fire as soon as the police arrived at the spot.

Three police personnel also sustained injuries, he said.

The accused, suspected to be members of the Rajesh Bharti gang, were severely injured in the encounter and taken to a hospital where they died, the official said.(PTI)
