Delhi: Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has been taken into custody in California, according to media reports.

Mumbai Police seeks Anmol Bishnoi's Extradition 

Notably, Mumbai Police has sent a proposal seeking the extradition of Anmol Bishnoi after US authorities shared inputs about his presence.

Anmol is wanted in several criminal cases in India, incuding extortion and murder conspiracies.  

NIA announces bounty on his arrest 

Last month, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for the arrest of Anmol Bishnoi. 

Firing outside Salman Khan's house 

Anmol was chargesheeted in two NIA cases registered in 2022 and a probe has revealed that he fled the country by using fake passport. In April this year, Anmol reportedly took responsibility on social media for the firing outside actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai house.
