Panaji: Goa police arrested two people in connection with the alleged murder of Bharatiya Janata Party leader and actress Sonali Phogat.

According to Dy SP Jivba Dalvi, Sudhir Sagwan and Sukhwinder Wasi were arrested on Thursday.

The duo were named by Sonali’s brother, Rinku Dhaka in his complaint before Anjuna police on Wednesday.

Though initially it was reported that Sonali had died of heart attack but postmortem conducted later revealed that there were multiple blunt injuries on her body. (UNI)
