Haryana: Independent MLA Savitri Jindal offers support to BJP

New Delhi: Hisar Independent MLA Savitri Jindal met Union Minister and BJP Haryana in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan in Delhi on Wednesday and extended her support to the party after it received historic third term in the state.  

BJP MP Naveen Jindal, along with his mother, met Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP MP Biplab Kumar Deb to offer her support.

Savitri Jindal wins Hisar seat 

Savitri Jindal had contested as an independent from Hisar and defeated Ram Niwas Rara of Congress.  

Earlier in the day, two Independent MLAs, Rajesh Joon and Devender Kadyan, also extended their support to BJP. 

Joon, who had contested from Bahadurgarh seat, defeated BJP's Dinesh Kaushik by a margin of 41,999 votes while Kadyan, a BJP rebel, was contested as an independent and defeated Congress's Kuldip Sharma by 35,209 votes from Ganaur assembly seat.

BJP gets 3rd term

The BJP scripted a history in the Haryana elections on Tuesday, winning a historic third term. The party won 48 of 90 seats.
