J&K Assembly Elections: BJP announces first list of 44 candidates

J&K Assembly Elections: BJP announces first list of 44 candidates

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday released its first list of 44 candidates phasewise for the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Three phases polls
The elections in J&K will be conducted in three phases, scheduled on September 18, 25, and October 1. The deadline for filing nomination papers for the first phase is August 27.

The counting of votes will take place on October 4.
