Kerala: Old woman raped by unknown man in Trivandrum
"The accused first demanded the woman’s money, and she gave him her ear rings worth half a sovereign and Rs 2000 in cash. Later, he overpowered and raped her," police said.
Trivandrum: A 57-year-old woman was allegedly raped and roped by unknown youth here on Saturday.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 4.30 a.m. but there was no evidence of a break-in. Preliminary inquiry suggests that the accused would have entered the house the previous day or night.
"The accused first demanded the woman’s money, and she gave him her ear rings worth half a sovereign and Rs 2000 in cash. Later, he overpowered and raped her," police added.

She was unmarried and staying alone.
