Know More About Bhajan Lal Sharma: The Rajasthan Chief Minister-Elect

Jaipur: After over a week of intense suspense, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has finally declared the name of Bhajan Lal Sharma as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

The announcement was made after the BJP observers today met the newly elected BJP MLAs in the state, reports Dynamite News correspondent. 

 
The names of Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa have been declared as the new Deputy Chief Ministers of the state, while Vasudev Devnani named as the next Rajasthan Assembly Speaker. 

A low-profile, amiable and efficient organizer Bhajan Lal Sharma has covered a long journey to reach the level of Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

Here is brief glimpse of his career: 

1. Bhajan Lal Sharma is the first time MLA elected from Sanganer.
2. He is originally from Bharatpur.
3. Bhajan Lal Sharma has been working in the organization for a    long time.
4. He has been working as the State General Secretary of BJP.
5. By cancelling the ticket of sitting MLA Ashok Lahoti, Bhajan Lal Sharma was given the ticket from Sanganer. 
6. Bhajan Lal Sharma defeated Congress's Pushpendra Bhardwaj by over 48080 votes.
7. Sharma has been associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
