New Delhi: The Election Commission of India on Sunday announced that the general elections to be held in seven phases. The counting of votes on 23 May.

First phase of polling to take place on 11 April

Second phase of polling to take place on 18 April 

Third phase of polling to take place on 23 April

Fourth phase of polling to take place on 29 April 

Fifth phase of polling to take place on 6 May
