It is believed that the prayer here fulfills the wishes of the devotees. In South India devotees observe a 41-day-long Deeksha leading up to Hanuman Jayanti, which culminates on Hanuman "Anjaneya Jayanti". On this occasion of Hanuman Jayanti several processions will be taken out to celebrate Lord Bajrang Bali. The police has beefed up the security arrangements to avoid any untoward incident during the processions.
