New Delhi: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi on Thursday questioned the Bharatiya Janata Party over its process of naming Chief Ministers in three states where the party registered Assembly polls victories and said that BJP is playing musical chairs right now with only two people Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah taking the call.

Priyanka Chaturvedi called the delay in naming Chief Ministers 'Unfortunate'.

"Because they (BJP) are busy in musical chairs. They have the majority, and people have expressed their trust in him. Elected MLAs have to make a decision that who will be the leader. But that process has been done away in the BJP. Only two people make decisions on the CM - PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. Results were out on December 3 and today is December 7," Priyanka Chaturvedi said.

She further said that if the same delay in appointing Chief Ministers had happened with Congress then the media would have debated it day and night.

"If this would have happened under Congress then 100 debates would have happened on TV. This is unfortunate," Rajya Sabha MP said.

Earlier today, Priyanka Chaturvedi also posted on X questioning the media silence on this issue.

"No one in the media asking BJP why the delay in naming the CMs of the three states they have won. It is the 4th day since the results were declared. Koi nahin. Ye bhi theek hai," she posted on X. (with ANI inputs)
