New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party NationalC Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in a message from Tihar jail on Thursday, directed his MLAs to visit their constituencies everyday to ensure that the citizens of the national capital do not face any issues.

Addressing the media with the background, in which a photo of the Delhi Chief Minister behind bars was placed in between the portraits of BR Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh, Sunita Kejriwal read out the AAP Supremo message to all MLAs, stating, “Just because I am in jail, the people of Delhi should not face any kind of problem.”

“Every MLA should visit his area every day and discuss the problems of the people and solve them,” she said.

“Two crore people in Delhi are my family, and no one in my family should be sad for any reason,” Sunita added.

Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Excise Policy case. He is lodged in Tihar jail under judicial custody until April 15. (with Agency inputs)
