Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the tallest wooden replica of flag post, built by Public sector Navratna Enterprise NBCC, at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad. President Murmu applauded NBCC CMD K P Mahadevaswamy for the successful and efficient execution of this flag post within a record timeframe.

This 120 ft. monumental structure claims the title of being the tallest wooden flag post in the country. Flag post is made up of high quality teak wood which is more than 80 years old.

The flag post has support of a total 18 stay wires to keep the flag pole standing in balanced position which are fixed to the stone foundation installed in the ground through the flag post.

Speaking on the occasion K P Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC said, “Today makes a significant moment as we inaugurate the new flag post, a symbol of our unwavering commitment and unity.”

Mahadevaswamy said that this milestone reflects our dedication to upholding the values that define our organisation and the pride that we hold in serving our Nation.
