Hyderabad: A woman and her three children drowned in a tank on Sunday morning.
This tragic incident occurred at Venkatapur Agraharam in Yellareddy Mandal, Kamareddy district.
How This Incident Occurred
The incident happened while Mounika was washing clothes, and the children entered into water tank to swim. As they walked into the deeper stretch of the water body, unfortunately, they accidentally drowned in the water. Mother found them drowning then she rushed to save them, she too, entered the water and also lost her life.
The deceased have been identified as Mounika (26) and her children—Maithili (10), Akshara (9), and Vinay (7).
Police arrived at the scene and retrieved the bodies from the tank.
The case has been registered. Further investigation is going on.
