UP devotee, with extreme devotion, slits his throat in Sharda Mata 'havan kund' in Maihar; Dies

Maihar: A devotee from Uttar Pradesh, perhaps submerged in devotion, allegedly slit his throat at the 'havan kund' in Sharda Mata temple in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh on Monday night resulting in his death, said the police.
The deceased has been identified as Lallaram (37), a resident of Prayagraj district in Uttar Pradesh.
Maihar police station in-charge Animesh Dwivedi said, “Lallaram was found dead near the 'havan kund' of Sharda Mata temple. He came alone and cut his throat. Why he did this is being investigated..."
“No one saw him doing this. An officer saw him covered in blood and a knife lying near him," added Dwivedi.
