Uttar Pradesh: Bahubali Mafia Atiq Ahmed's Brother Ashraf's Rs. 14 crore Property Attached In Prayagraj

The administration on Friday acted tough against Khalid Azim alias Ashraf, former MLA and younger brother of bahubali mafia and former MP Atiq Ahmed and attached his illegal property of worth more than Rs. 14 crore. Read on for details:

Prayagraj: The administration on Friday acted tough against Khalid Azim alias Ashraf, former MLA and younger brother of bahubali mafia and former MP Atiq Ahmed who is currently lodged in Gujarat's Sabarmati Jail and attached his illegal property of worth more than Rs.14 crore at Devghat in Jhalwa.  

Ashraf is currently behind bars in Bareilly Jail in UP under several sections including the Gangster Act. The police-administration attached Ashraf's land and illegal property located at Devghat in Jhalwa.

As part of the action being taken by the Uttar Pradesh government against mafias and criminals, the properties of Atiq Ahmed as well as his brother Ashraf have been identified. It was decided to attach Ashraf's properties located at Chakia and Jalwa under the Gangster Act. Later other illegal properties, if any, of Ashraf will also be attached.

Assets worth more than 986 crores of Atiq Ahmed, his family members and accomplices have been attached so far. There are 98 criminal cases registered against Atiq Ahmed.
