Gorakhpur: A carzy elephant of BJP MLA Vipin Singh created a huge rampage in Mohammadpur Mafi village of Chiluatal police station area of Gorakhpur. Three people, including a child, died and many others were injured.
List of deceased in elephant attack:
1. Kanti Devi (55}, w/o Shankar Upadhyay, Village Mohammadpur Mafi
2. Kaushalya Devi (50), w/o Dilip Kumar, Village Mohammadpur Mafi
3. Krishna (4), s/o Rajeev
As per the information, the elephant first entered a Yajna Pandal in the village and then caused huge destruction all around.
Later the Forest Department and Police team arrived at the spot to tame the elephant and control the situation.
