Lucknow: In order to set some political equations in Uttar Pradesh before the Lok Sabha elections, soon state cabinet expansion, with some new faces, is on the cards.

Sources said that some of the BJP's new and old allies including Jayant Choudhary's RLD may find a place in the cabinet to ease the equations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Besides, half a dozen leaders including OP Rajbhar, Dara Singh Chauhan, who left SP and joined BJP, and RLD's Pradeep Chaudhary may also join the cabinet.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, amid the buzz of cabinet expansion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath went to Raj Bhavan and met the Governor Anandiben Patel. On this occasion, CM Yogi also presented the book 'Rom Rom Mein Ram' to the Governor.
